A cascading piano motif begins this work of an original text and vocals that sing like water dancing on rocks in a stream. Vocal play between voices combine in rich harmony, singing of the morning sky waking from nighttime slumber. Then in contrast, the text tells of the bright appearance of the sun as “liquid fire, nature orchestrating delight.” Truly a fresh and exquisite choral work.
