Description: This butterfly gracefully dances in the air. This solo contains a single note melody with LH short arpeggios. The form is ABA. In the B section, the LH gets the melody for contrast. It is fun to play.
Purpose: * Would make a good recital solo.
* Children and adults would enjoy playing it for relaxation.
* Reinforces patterns, broken chords, and singing melody.
* Helps teach memorization.
* Works on looseness in the LH wrist and arm.
Suggestions for Instruction: * Play solo for student to visualize the butterfly and hear
the graceful touch and form.
