Castanets consist of a pair of concave shells joined on one edge by a rope or string. They are usually held in the hand and played with the fingers to create rhythmic accents. Castanets are often played in pairs, with one in each hand to create a rapid series of clicks. IQ Plus castanets with handles are designed for ease and comfort while playing. Both the claves and handles are constructed of eco-friendly Siam Oak wood, and are available in two colors (natural and yellow & green).
